Happy New Year; Profitable New Features
Happy New Year to my reader(s) in the blogosphere. I hope 2011 ended well and you have a great 2012! I have added some new features for Reformed Confessions Serialized for 2012.
First, I have added a glossary to each week (that needs it) of the Second Helvetic Confession. No longer will you have to scratch your head and wonder who Marcion was or what the Schwenckfelders believed. I’ll have entries for the relevant person/movement right beneath the text of the confession. My reference for most of this information is the New Dictionary of Theology. This is a great concise resource for every Christian; expect a review on Literary Ales soon.
And I’ve added two new confessions this year. Keeping with the PCUSA’s Book of Confessions (a great historical resource), I’ve added the Scots Confession. Since there are only 25 readings in that confession I’ll be adding another short confession for the second half of the year (something not in the PCUSA’s BOC).
As always you are encouraged to comment to discuss or ask questions about the confessions.
